Finally, release date of Singam 3 has been revealed by Wikipedia. As per the Wikipedia, S3 will be released on 28th October 2016.

This release date is not confirmed by the production team, but their is expectation that filming of this movie will be finished Before August 2016. So, It might also release near the occasion of Independence day.

The shoot of Singam 3, which was delayed due to flood in Tamil Nadu, will re-start in January. Recently, Suriya confirmed it. He said in an interview that

“We’re start shooting from the second week of January. Now that most of the work on my other project 24 is almost over, we can totally focus on Singam 3,”

Due to delay in shooting, there is a chance that Singam 3 might release little late on theater. Now, Singam 3 might release in March 2016 or it may postponed to Mid 2016.

There is good news for the fans of Singam movie franchise that its 3rd part is in production. Singam 3 is an action, drama and thriller movie.

I am sure that none of you forgot the DSP Durai Singam and waiting for more action of Singam. This is the first movie franchise of Kollywood, which has sequel. This movie franchise actually showed that what can a police department of India can do. Now, the 3rd part of this movie is confirmed.

The shoot for this movie was started in the end of 2015. Singam is a South Indian movie franchise, which started its action in 2010. This movie got huge success all over the world. This is the reason that a Hindi remake of this movie created by Ajay and Rohit, with the title Singham, which also garnered more than 100 crores.

Singam franchise is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja, who signed, Hari as director. Hari directed all 2 parts of this movie franchise and also directing the third part of this movie. He is the one, who confirmed that the first shoot of the Singam 3 will be started from September 2015, because right now, Suriya is busy in doing movie 24, which is directed by Vikram Kumar.

There is another conformation came out from the team of this franchise that this part will be connected to its prequel.  This movie will have the music of Anirudh, who is giving the music in the movie of Suriya, first time.

It is also confirmed by makers that the shooting of this movie will be take place in Tuticorin, Chennai, Thoothukkudy, Karaikudi and Goa and remaining part will be directed in France, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia. One of the dialogue is also shared by the maker to the audience, which has the word,“Thappu Panravungala kaithu seiyradhu mattum police velaiyilla, thappey nadakkaama paathukarauthuthaan Police!.”

Shruti Hassan shows her interest to become part of this franchise and also want to share screen with Suriya. She confirmed this in many events and now, she got chance to do Singam 3 with Suriya. From a member of this movie unit, we come to knew about the selection of Shruti. He said,

“Shruti is most likely to play the second lead. While she agreed to be part of the project, the paperwork is still pending. She’s expected to sign on the dotted line soon,”

He also revealed about the movie by saying, “The film is expected to go on the floors in September. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing tunes, while comedian Soori has been cast in an important role,” the source also told, “The film will be shot in India, Africa, Australia and Paris. As soon as Suriya completes shooting for Tamil thriller 24, he’s expected to take a short break and join the sets of Singam 3,”

Director, Hari also said to DNA about the story of this movie that, “The story of Singam 3 is connected to the previous two films and it will take off from where Singam 2 ended,”

This franchise based on the character Durai Singam, who is the honest police officer. In every part he tries to remove the corrupt people and criminal from his territory. In the second part there is some element of Nation security. He also fall in love with Kavya Mahalingam, he married her in the 2nd part. This movie might also present by Prince Pictures.

Now, if we talk about the release date of this movie then, we found that the makers of this movie are planning to release this movie on Sankranthi 2016. If the shoot of this movie will go smoothly then, it might be released near April 2016, otherwise it may take little more time to release. This release date is not confirmed by unit of Singam. It is only the expectation and rumor.
